SoulTech.lk Terms and Conditions for Purchase of Used Devices

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") apply to the sale and purchase of used mobile devices ("Products") from SoulTech.lk ("Company"). By purchasing a Product from us, the customer ("Customer") agrees to the following terms and conditions:

​

1. Pre-Purchase Inspection

1.1. At the point of sale, the Customer is entitled to physically inspect the Product for any faults or defects. This inspection must take place before completing the purchase.


1.2. SoulTech employees will provide a full breakdown of the Product, including but not limited to: - The physical condition of the device. - The current market rate of the Product. - Any existing wear and tear or cosmetic defects, which will be disclosed upfront.

1.3. The Customer acknowledges that all devices sold are used and, as such, may have some signs of prior use. SoulTech does not guarantee the device to be in 'as-new' condition.

​

1.4 New devices (where applicable) will not be subject to the previously outlined conditions.

​

2. Post-Purchase Return Policy

2.1. The Customer is allowed to return the Product before leaving the premises if paid for in cash, and only under the following conditions:

 

2.1.1. The device must be returned in the exact condition as sold. 

​

2.1.2. The return must be completed within the same visit. 

​

2.2. Returns will not be accepted for any form of payment other than cash, including credit, debit, or any other electronic transactions.

​

2.3. No returns or refunds will be allowed once the Customer has left the store premises, regardless of the form of payment or reasoning.

​

3. Warranty Terms

3.1. Software Warranty: No warranty for software issues will be provided due to the pre-owned nature of the devices. Customers are responsible for any software-related problems, including operating system issues, malware, or third-party application compatibility.
 

3.2. Hardware Warranty: A limited hardware warranty of up to 6 months will be provided for select devices, as indicated at the time of sale. This warranty covers hardware malfunctions but does not apply to cosmetic defects, damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorized repairs. - The availability of replacement parts and the severity of the damage may affect the warranty claim, and SoulTech.lk reserves the right to reject a warranty claim under these conditions.
 

4. Refund Policy

4.1. Full refunds for cash or credit purchases are not permitted, regardless of the reasoning, once the Product has been purchased.

4.2. SoulTech.lk ensures that all products are of the highest possible quality at the time of sale. In cases where the Product has a visible defect (such as a cracked back or screen), this will be disclosed to the Customer before purchase. Such defects will also be listed on SoulTech.lk’s website (www.soultech.lk.com). 

​

4.3. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Product is being purchased on an "as-is" basis, with no right to return or refund unless the product is returned before leaving the store (for cash payments only).

5. Exchange Policy

5.1. SoulTech.lk offers an exchange policy valid for [X] days from the date of purchase, provided the Product is returned in its original condition, without signs of additional wear and tear, and includes all accessories and original packaging.

5.2. Exchanges are subject to the availability of similar devices. The exchange policy will not apply to devices purchased via non-cash payments.

​

6. Limitations of Liability

6.1. SoulTech.lk will not be held liable for any accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorized repair attempts made after the sale of the Product.


6.2. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure the proper care and handling of the device after purchase. SoulTech.lk bears no responsibility for devices that are mishandled after leaving the store.

6.3. Any data stored on the device is the sole responsibility of the Customer. SoulTech.lk is not liable for any loss of data due to device faults, repairs, or accidental damage. Customers are advised to back up their data before purchase.

7. Pre-Owned Device Disclaimer

7.1. As these devices are pre-owned, the Customer acknowledges that the Product may have minor cosmetic defects or signs of prior use. These minor defects will not qualify the Customer for a return, exchange, or refund unless otherwise disclosed before purchase. 

​

7.2. SoulTech.lk does not guarantee that the device will support all third-party apps or future software updates. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure the compatibility of their desired applications or software with the purchased device.

​

8. Payment Disputes

8.1. Any disputes regarding payment or discrepancies in the sale must be raised at the point of sale. No payment disputes will be entertained once the Customer has left the store premises. 

​

8.2. SoulTech.lk reserves the right to decline any transaction or payment method deemed suspicious or fraudulent.

​

9. Repairs and Parts Availability

9.1. In the event that a Customer requires a repair within the warranty period, the availability of replacement parts may vary. If the necessary parts are out of stock, the Customer will be informed and offered the option to wait until parts are available. 

​

9.2. Delays due to stock shortages are beyond SoulTech.lk’s control, and the Company will not be held responsible for extended repair times in such cases.

​

10. Right to Refuse Service

10.1. SoulTech.lk reserves the right to refuse service or sale to any Customer under circumstances including but not limited to: 

​

10.1.1. Fraudulent transactions.

​

10.1.2. Attempts to tamper with or alter the device. 

​

10.1.3. Violation of these terms and conditions.

​

11. Customer Obligations

11.1. The Customer is responsible for reviewing these terms and conditions in full before completing the purchase. By signing below, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions. 

​

11.2. Any misunderstanding of these terms will not be the responsibility of SoulTech.lk once the document has been signed.

​

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1. In the case of any dispute arising from this transaction, the Customer agrees to first seek resolution through a mediation process before pursuing any legal action. 

​

12.2. Any legal disputes will be governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

​

13. Data Privacy and Protection

13.1. SoulTech.lk will not be responsible for the loss, theft, or corruption of any data stored on the device at the time of purchase. Customers are advised to back up their data before completing the purchase. 

​

13.2. Any data provided by the Customer during the transaction process will be stored and processed according to SoulTech.lk’s data privacy policy, available on our website (www.soultech.lk.com).

​

14. Governing Law

14.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the Customer agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Sri Lanka.

​

15. Acknowledgement and Acceptance

15.1. By signing this agreement, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined herein. The Customer further agrees that they have inspected the Product and accepted it in its current condition, understanding the limitations on returns, refunds, and warranties.

 

16. Online Orders 

16.1. For online orders made through our website (www.soultech.lk) or via direct messages (DMs) from our social media platforms, SoulTech.lk will strive to provide the best available product as per the Customer's request.

16.2. Upon receiving an online order, a representative from SoulTech.lk will contact the Customer to confirm the details and ensure they are comfortable with their purchase. 

​

16.3. Any deficiencies or issues with the product will be disclosed to the Customer before the product is shipped. The Customer acknowledges that, as these are used devices, they may not be in 'as-new' condition, but any significant defects will be communicated beforehand.

 

17. Business and Personal Inquiries 

17.1. For both business and personal inquiries, prices of all goods will be finalized at the point of sale. 

​

17.2. For custom business or personal orders, a down payment of 50% of the agreed price must be made to confirm the order. This applies to both in-store and online payments. 

​

17.3. After agreeing on the price, the Customer must make the initial 50% payment within two (2) days. Failure to do so may result in the restructuring of the deal. 

​

17.4. Once the product is ready for shipping, the Customer will be notified and must pay the remaining 50% of the balance. 

​

17.5. The product will be delivered to the Customer within 2 to 6 business days after full payment is made, depending on the availability of the product in Sri Lanka. If the product is already available in Sri Lanka, delivery will occur within 2 business days.
